Restraint is not minimalism for its own sake. It is the discipline of subtraction — removing the unnecessary until only the considered remains. A walnut panel with clean vertical grain, a single light-marble insert, a flat ceiling carrying concealed cove light: each earns its place precisely because so little else competes with it.

This is also why our palettes lean warm and neutral — soft whites, greige, pale taupe, champagne and brushed brass — rather than high-contrast drama. Calm reads as confidence. And confidence, in a home, is what lets a space feel both elevated and genuinely livable for years.
