Some commissions are not rooms to be decorated, but landmarks to be brought back to life.
The West Coast Road Estate was one of them: a colonial property to be reimagined as a refined boutique-hotel experience — elegant, welcoming and timeless, where modern comfort met European charm without slipping into pastiche. It is a project we keep in our journal not as a private home, but as a piece of work worth remembering — a record of how we treat history when a building has a story already worth telling.

We set the architecture in a Modern Colonial, boutique-European register: a white plaster façade with dark trims, black metal balconies and railings, French-style tall windows and a symmetrical, orderly massing, grounded by a warm brick base. Resort-hotel outdoor seating extends the interior life outward. Every move was weighed for hospitality — circulation, sightlines, arrival — not merely appearance.

A refined boutique hotel — elegant, welcoming, and timeless: modern comfort with European charm.
Within, the language turns to quiet luxury. A curved marble reception anchors the arrival; checkerboard marble corridors and a brass lift lobby carry the European register through the building; a skylit garden gallery threads daylight and greenery into the plan; and the suites are composed for calm. Materials, lighting and proportion are tuned for the feel of a hotel rather than a house.

Delivered end to end — consultancy, design and project management under one roof — the estate reads as a single, coherent vision carried from concept through coordination to completion. A landmark given a second life, and a clear record of what we mean by refining space and designing the unexpected.
Whether it is a single room or an entire estate, the conversation begins the same way — with how you want to live. Share your space and we will show you what it could become.
