Heritage Modern
What the space asked for
A residence aligned around inherited Ming furniture — the design asked to integrate generations of family heritage into a contemporary, liveable home.
The thinking, made material
The heirloom collection anchors each room; around it, a restrained modern palette and layered, warm lighting create depth without competing. Materials are kept honest and tactile so the old and the new read as one considered whole.
What the space became
An interior that feels collected rather than styled — heritage celebrated, not embalmed, in a calm and timeless modern home.
Aligned around a collection of inherited Ming-style furniture passed down through generations — the cultural and emotional anchor of the home.
A story-driven concept that honours the family’s heirloom pieces while integrating contemporary living, so heritage is celebrated rather than embalmed.
