Heritage Modern
What the space asked for
A home anchored on a collection of heirloom Ming-style furniture passed down through generations — the cultural and emotional foundation — with a master suite asked to read as a refined, hotel-inspired sanctuary.
The thinking, made material
Rather than build a museum, we let the heirloom pieces set the tone and composed a curated contemporary luxury around them. The master bedroom turns on an upholstered feature wall with champagne-bronze detailing and warm ambient lighting for depth without excess; a palette of warm taupe, soft beige and natural wood deepens the calm, while bespoke cabinetry and integrated storage weave function discreetly into the design. Layered lighting and a considered ceiling complete a hotel-inspired atmosphere.
What the space became
A home that celebrates heritage while living entirely in the present — collected, personal and enduring, where lineage and a timeless, understated luxury sit in quiet harmony.
Anchored on a curated collection of heirloom Ming furniture passed down through generations of the family — the cultural and emotional foundation of the space.
The design celebrates that heritage while integrating contemporary living, letting the inherited pieces lead and composing modern comfort around them — polished, professional and deeply personal.
A refined, hotel-inspired sanctuary: an upholstered feature wall with champagne-bronze detailing and warm ambient lighting adds depth without overwhelming, over a palette of warm taupe, soft beige and natural wood.
Bespoke cabinetry and integrated storage keep the suite uncluttered, while a considered ceiling, layered lighting and tailored furnishings complete a timeless, understated luxury.
